TUCKER RESIDENCE

This new construction design came with a blank slate and a lot of our Georgia red clay. Working with the concrete contractor we created her front walk with large concrete squares surrounded by stone. A few large ornamental boulders at the front door are always a fun addition. Metal edging keeps the lines between turf and beds crisp and clean.

"As an architect, I understand the need for using someone for landscaping design that understands the ins and outs of the process. Selecting the right plants for the right soils, climates, ambiance, etc. We were searching for a maintenance free exterior as much as possible. A very natural environment was our goal. Having someone that understands all of the above yet was flexible enough to work through the specifics that we wanted was an enormous asset. Like any trade, you can probably do it yourself...but it will look like you did."
