My landscape design is helping me prioritize the many projects I'd eventually like to complete! Without an overall plan, it's easy to make short sighted decisions on individual projects. After receiving my plan, I immediately had some professional work done, which I followed with a little bit of DIY landscaping.
Haley brought up things I hadn't considered and provided solutions for things already on my mind (e.g. directing visitors with walkways, additional parking, and alternative privacy fencing options). She made a couple of suggestions for my specific needs that will save me an immense amount of time and money (both on installation and long term maintenance!). I needed a low maintenance landscape that is fairly traditional in design. So many low maintenance designs are too modern for the Victorian-era home I'm restoring.
