Industry Partners

In addition to working with homeowners to create landscape designs that are easy to implement, functional, and tranquil, I also work with other industry professionals.

Collaborations with other landscape contractors, custom home builders, and real estate agents just to name a few are always fun.

Landscape Contractors

Being able to present a comprehensive landscape design to your client has numerous benefits!

  • It allows the client to see exactly what you are proposing. It also provides a perfectly detailed plan of action for you or your team to install the project.

  • It limits the back and forth with the client of where this plant goes...what this plant looks like...how this walkway flows...what this retaining wall does...which enables you to sell the job easier.

  • Accurate bidding is a must! My designs are scaled and contain definitive material quantities that ensure you bid the project accurately and precisely.

  • You want to position yourself as an industry expert. We utilize tried and true plants for our area as well as new proven winners suited for our zone. Combine that with two decades of hardscape, irrigation, drainage and lighting design...and together we will be able to deliver a great service to your client.

  • Time! Collaborating with a designer opens up more time for you to focus on other tasks within your business. Design work is very time consuming...let me handle that!

  • Increase your profit and close ratio. A well-designed plan will deliver the client what they want as well as create a road map for you to ensure you produce the project on time and on budget.

  • Set yourself apart from the competition with a comprehensive landscape plan with your company logo on it!

Custom Home Builders

Landscaping is one of the last pieces of the puzzle when building a new home. Having worked with numerous builders I know this is one area where the budget typically gets cut toward the end of the build. However, that doesn't mean you can't provide your client with a comprehensive landscape plan, tailored to their style, that they are able to phase out after they have had time to catch their breath once they are settled.

A comprehensive landscape plan can help them with the preparation process and order of things as it pertains to irrigation, landscape lighting, foundation plants, sod, etc once they are ready to tackle the outside.

Real Estate Agents

According to the National Association of Realtors, in an article published in March 2023, 92% of realtors improve their curb appeal prior to listing their home for sale.

Having a plan, even if it is a simple front foundation facelift, can transform the "first reaction" potential buyers experience when pulling into the driveway.

Investing in a comprehensive landscape plan can also be an incentive that the sellers can pass off to the buyer for future landscape enhancements.

“It’s no surprise that nearly all REALTORS® and most homeowners place a high value on the curb appeal of a well-maintained yard,” said Britt Wood, NALP CEO. “Healthy outdoor living and green spaces help the environment, increase home values, make communities more desirable, and improve people’s mental and physical health.”

Seller Testimonial:

"I knew creating a much nicer backyard would increase the value of my home and create an outdoor area I would want to spend time using. This week I saw how much value and wow factor was added. I put my house on the market Thursday and Thursday afternoon it was under contract for full asking price."

The agent said the backyard sold the house. It was my favorite part of my house and something I wish I had done much sooner.”
